1. NEGATIVLAND PRESENTS: “IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD FM” IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, MARCH 10TH, 11TH AND 12TH, 2006.
In a rare public appearance with their first live performances in the Northwest in almost six years, Negativland brings their weekly radio show, OVER THE EDGE (now in its 24th year on Berkeley's KPFA FM), to the stages of Seattle’s Consolidated Works and to the Olympia Film Society for the very first time, mixing music, sounds, voices, “personalities” and sound effects into a "theater of the mind," just as they do in their live radio broadcasts.
The show, “It's All In Your Head FM”, is a two-hour-long, esoteric look at monotheism in all its fundamental forms worldwide, and the all-important role played by the human brain in those belief systems. Dr. Oslo Norway is the founder of an all-new radio network, and his provocatively-reasoned position of god-less objectivity can actually start arguments. Why do we believe what we believe? Is monotheism now doing more harm than good? Christianity and Islam are this year’s featured religions as Negativland asks you to contemplate some rather complex ideas about our brains in “documentary collage” form.

2.“NEGATIVLANDLAND” ART SHOW CONTINUES AT CONSOLIDATED WORKS IN SEATTLE.
Ongoing at Consolidated Works until March 12 is “Negativlandland”, a three room exhibit of over 70 works of visual art, video, and installation from the minds of Negativland. In “Negativlandland,” you'll peer into wrecked cars, get your fingers in the dirt, discover the secrets of Howland Island, make meat squeak (if you dare to touch it!), view many brand new video works, and learn how to make your own noises on The Booper in the hall of Weatherman.

3. “It’s All In Your Head FM” makes its live CD debut… available for mailorder only!
Seeland Records announces the first-ever official Negativland live album – “It’s All In Your Head FM” (v1.0) – recorded on our West Coast mini-tour in 2005. This all-new double-CD set is a carefully-assembled, high quality rendering of the show as it stood in October, 2005 and we’re calling it “v1.0”, leaving open the possibility for an entirely different recording/album of the material in the future. Perhaps. Who knows?? v1.0 is entirely performed live, with no studio mixing, and was performed without any computers in sight, recorded at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall and Los Angeles’ El Rey. It’s available only through www.negativland.com, at least for the foreseeable future, and at our live concerts. Price is $14 postpaid in the USA, or $17/$18.50 in various other regions such as Europe, Outer Bulgravia etc. Our expected shipping date is March 14.
