“Deathsentences of the Polished and Structurally Weak” Personal notes and fragments found in wrecked automobiles. Combining technologically destroyed audio, genuine auto debris, a wrecking yard video, and large photographs pointing to where the found materials found their final resting place, this installation is based around a 2002 Negativland multi-media release of the same name. Incomplete stories from Negativland’s days spent exploring old auto wrecking yards on the west coast.
