1973 radio continues with Timothy Leary returning to the U.S. from exile to face criminal charges as the drug culture begins to spawn downfall songs. Prison reform and a Dylan song emerge with the death/murder of George Jackson, and the Weathermen are on the run underground. Then Sky Lab and our expensive fascination with space accompanies a mini edition of “Another UFO”, first with aliens landing at Holiman AFB in ‘71, and then with early 70s cattle mutilations all over the west. Music, news, and DJs of the year throughout.
