We finish off 1976 radio with /”Radio Victory/” from England, Monty Python, The role of evangelical Christianity in the 76 presidential campaign candidates, a “Voice Of America” version of what happened in the Carter/Ford presidential debate and election, DJ airchecks, some appropriate live and studio music of the year, and ending with an unreleased 10 minute live version of /”Paradise by the Dashboard Light/” by Meatloaf.

1976 continues with a lengthy tribute to CB radio as it emerges for the first time from trucker cabs into public consciousness and hit records. Then we move through a mash-up version of the simultaneous emergence of disco. “Another UFO” covers two events from 76 as told by the participants, and ending up with some 76 politics, including the presidential campaign, former CIA agent Phillip Agee on the American political system, and the Weather Underground.

Starting 1976 off with a mix about sex and the feminine paradox , we then continue with some national bicentennial birthday radio celebrations from July 4th, a little survey of the emergence of Punk, including a big chunk of Patti Smith and The Talking Heads, English DJs and how The Sex Pistols began, and a generous sampling of campaign public service announcements from Ford and Carter in this election year.
