Then Jimi Hendrix, speaking a little and playing a lot. Then Bob Dylan, then and now. All of it emphasizing less known performances, live and in the studio.

Kicking on, this begins with an extended mix about music cut-up techniques and procedures in music now, sampling from and for collage, the illegal side of music, and songs about the business at the top of the pops. Then a long nod to jazz and Hip Hop, mixing their censored pasts with avant examples, rock returns with a great Clapton performance, and John Lennon takes the kids into space.

Colliding music of all kinds characterizes this edition, with a lengthy tribute to the early Elvis and an extended mash of /”When The Musics Over/” by The Doors. Intermixing Pop from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, classical soundtrack music highly manipulated, the Duophone processing system for making mono LPs sound like stereo, our phone system is screwed by cell phone drop-outs, and a debate about free music on line.
