Universe – Part 1

“Universe” Part One

Jan. 25, 2013

Wobbly, Don.

We begin a series on something much bigger – the universe – and we’ll cover anything related to it. What it is, what’s in it, how it works, science fiction’s view, and all the physics too. Wobbly and I begin tonight with a general universe overview, as if there was such a thing…

The Chopping Channel – Variations on the End of Music

“The Chopping Channel” (Variations on the End of Music)

Jan. 18 , 2013

Wobbly, Don.

Crosley Bendix begins with a live talk about the end of music, then Wobbly and I bring The Chopping Channel back again on the same subject, with “winging it” our only guide.  Patsy falls to pieces, Bits And Pieces, Helter Boring and other mash-ups of your most tiresome hits – Fresh again! Wobbly’s many “Variations” CDR’s of cut-up hits & clips fill out this no-gap music chop.

Your Music is the Devil – Part 3

“Your Music Is The Devil” Part 3

Jan. 11 , 2013

Solo.

No one typifies Devilish music more than Diamanda Galas, an avant vocalist who incorporates the scream as art. We feature Diamanda’s “music” exclusively throughout this whole show, as we learn more about the Devil and His history. For the first time in decades, callers called this show “horrible,” but it isn’t horrible, it’s just difficult listening… Unusual music for unusual listeners.

Your Music is the Devil – Part 2

“Your Music Is The Devil” Part 2

Dec. 28 , 2012

Solo.

We begin where we left off with The Weatherman commenting on Bob Dylan. Then continuing on with more indisputable evidence of Satan’s intrusion into all varieties pop & rock music.  With preacher selected examples galore, from Heavy Metal to spiritual ditties, the insidious phenomenon of backmasking makes all music dangerous to your forward listening ears. Avoid all music until played backwards. And what’s worse, readings from straight-ahead rock lyrics prove the point.
