A mix of tapes of and by The Weatherman, including his family in the Christmas kitchen, rambling thoughts of The Weatherman, edits of Seat Bee Sate and and Limbo, and lots of snipits and clipits of the great man collected over many decades of microphone usage, all accompanied by a mix of known and unknown Christmas music.

The Rain Show

Dec. 19, 2014

After many days of solid rain in Northern California, this is a show in which I play disc jockey with all the rain songs I can find. Christmas is edging up from behind, but it’s mainly all about rain and the non-stop songs in all genres inspired by it, interspersed with receptacle callers on the Rain Line. You can’t get wetter than this.

Universe – Part 73

Universe pt. 73

Dec. 12, 2014

Quantum physics is the disconcerting branch of modern physics that shows that actions at the micro level of physical existence are tied to our observation of those actions. When observation is missing, so is interaction at the quantum level. This show brings out physicists and mathematicians discussing this phenomenon at the foundation of observable reality which appears to rule the universe. Freaky but true.

Universe – Part 72

Universe pt. 72

Nov. 28, 2014

A thanksgiving episode about the history of Earth and the emergence of life right here in the Universe. What is required to make this possible? Well, turns out it’s chemicals, though we have never succeeded in chemically creating life in a laboratory, even with some very expensive equipment to simulate the climate and conditions of early Earth.
