OTE is absolutely great, but I alwasy have problems with the download links. Usually I can only get about 80Mb and then downloading is strangely finished and I have to try it again. Isn’t it possible to make an ordinary download link you can just click with your mouse and then choose save target as. This was I could use a download manager.

I can echo PHOBOs there with the problems. I put up with them because, hey, I’m getting 3-5 hrs of FREE shit every darn week. Make that a god darn, if there was one.

Snugganut, keep up the good work.

yeah, if everyone’s having this kind of problem, then i guess we can change our procedure for free downloads. it’s probably a server issue, and we’re switching soon, but we’ll try a normal link this week and see how it goes. this only makes things more complicated for us though, and we’re more likely to make mistakes!

Uh, is this archive supposed to be in mono? And of course, this would be the one I’ve missed live in a while.

I’ve had my share of incomplete downloads forcing a retry, but on the whole I can’t complain. It certainly isn’t unique to this website. I find that incomplete downloads are more likely at certain times of the day (and week), and over time I’ve learnt to avoid them. Also, the download box I get with the present method is no different to what I get from other sites which allow for the right-click “Save Target As” option. Just sayin’…

It is definately a server issue. It is the server that is kicking you off your download before completion. I can only suggest redownloading, and do NOT try downloading multiple files at the same time. The server tends to end ALL your downloading at the same time. One of the freebies I tried to download took me 5 attempts before I got the full file. Irritating, but again…because it’s free, I can’t complain.
