This unscheduled edition of OTE begins1971 with the Firesign Theatres ‘71 /”Bozos/” album which is played throughout, along with a statement by Eldridge Cleaver from Algeria on the Black Panther /”bust/” of Timothy Leary and his wife, Rosemary, who were hiding out in Algeria with the Panthers after Leary escaped prison in the U.S. Also black and white incompatibility as displayed in an extended remix of The Last Poets. We continue with more war in Vietnam, songs, news, and DJs of the day and changing stations all over 1971.
