When I see this sort of thing, I always stop and ask myself if its just angry parody or real. I lean towards parody because I had a liberal (read varied and comprehensive) education, and always find the provincial closemindedness of some seemingly cloistered contemporary christians to be hard to accept as authentic. Of course, I must then come round to the obvious truth, that this is a flaw in my own method of thinking. Of course there are many christians out there who think that Christians invented such concepts as morality, social order, law, and common sense, along with good plumbing, sensible hygiene, and the two day weekend. I am sure that those of you who operate in this limited intellectual theatre will one day, having failed to sanitise the internet, claim the bible forbids its use or some such thing.

However, your diatribe on Bob Dylan is, quite simply, crass, unsophisticated, and morally self-righteous. Do you have any idea how many passages in the bible are devoted to reminding us what petty and debased creatures we are in the sight of God ? Let's try on some KJV Romans 2 for size, shall we ?

"Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things."

You clearly qualify here as 'O man'. Maybe you could use a few words from Paul, too.

Bob Dylan is an entertainer, not the spearhead or puppet of some mass conspiracy to get women to engage in extramarital sex. The music of the sixties and seventies did more to empower women than all of music in the rest of the history of mankind. If you don't want to read Paul's work, try some feminist history texts. You operate under the most fatally arrogant and superior male attitude - that women need to be protected and don't enjoy sex. One is wrong. You may not be aware the other is also wrong, depending on your personal experience.

Your myopic slandering of people who enjoy same sex relationships, and your typically narrowminded dismissal of the Pope as anti-christian also mark you as a bigot of almost every stripe. You seem to be proud of the fact that your community is a part of the industrial military complex- a far more sinister and real danger than the bob dylan-recording industry- losse sex consortium you seem to champion the existence of. I would imagine that head of yours is going to be pretty hard to fit through the eye of the needle when you get to the gates. Maybe some Milton would do you some good as well.

The devil had a far sweeter tongue than you, but I think his ego was about the same size.

BTW- You webpages are downright ugly. Clearly the work of bitter amateur.
